The lead announcer and producer of the Matside With Bob Dieli TV show from 88 to 12 was Bob Dieli who is known throughout the world's wrestling community and has especially been followed over the years by the local high school, OSU, and USA World Cup teams. Bob started his wrestling in high school in Cleveland, lettered at Ohio State, and wrestled AAU as adult. Bob was inducted into the 1987 Ohio Wrestling Hall of Fame for his 42 years involvement in wrestling. In 2012 Bob was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Ohio Chapter. He was member of 1980 USA staff who won the World team title. He has attended 4 Olympics, 6 World Games and 13 World Cup Games. He was founder of the Ohio Wrestling Club, which participated in men's freestyle national championships from 72-77, finishing 3rd or above in all but one of those years. Bob has trained over 30 State High School Champions, over 10 collegiate All-Americans and eight Senior National AAU champions. Robert J. Dieli Sr. has authored several published books on wrestling and philosophy. . And of course, Bob has produced hundreds of TV wrestling shows over past 25 years breaking World Record in Wrestling TV Broadcaster Hours of Amateur Wrestling.
Ryan Mitchell Announcer
Ryan Mitchell has been on the Clippers broadcast team for five seasons, twelve in professional baseball. He served as the voice of the Chillicothe Paints in the Frontier League for six years, winning the league's Broadcaster of the Year award in 2006. He broke into professional baseball in 2002 as the #2 broadcaster with the Double-A Carolina Mudcats. On July 26, 2011 Mitchell called the final out of Justin Germano's perfect game vs. Syracuse, only the fifth 9-inning prefect game in IL history. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Mitchell called baseball, football, and basketball games for the Falcons and hosted several sports talk shows on the University's two radio stations. Mitchell has been the lead voice on the Columbus-based high school wrestling program "Matside with Bob Dieli" for the past two years. Starting in 2013 Ryan has called the OHSAA State Wretling Championship finals for Time Warner Sports Channel.
The technical director is Cliff Cahill. Cliff and Bob started their work together to bring Central Ohio the best televised wrestling programming in the country with the creation of the 1 hour TV presentation, Matside With Bob Dieli. Today their show is on for 2 hours each night year around. We use 2 HD cameras to film and to edit we use an Apple Laptop using Final Cut Pro 10 as of 2014 season.

Over the years we have had many other wrestling experts volunteer to do the play by play as needed: the late John Dalton, Nate Carr, Jim Humphrey, JD Bergman, Alex Picaso, Todd Thacher, Fred Feeney, Vince DiSabato, Phil DiSabato, John Cahill, Len Andrews, and many others who Bob would invite to set with him as the color commentator.
Hundreds of Volunteer Camera People
The production is total volunteer staff. Over the years there have been hundreds of volunteer camera people provide their service on Camera #2. Cliff Cahill has been the Camera #1 sense the inception of this Matside With Bob Dieli project.
The project has always been self funded by Cliff Cahill and John Dalton.
